S the Snake and Safety

Look at our slithering snakes!

Amber brought some pictures of stamps to share.

Ava drew a picture of shooting stars.

Emily brought in her sleeping bag.

Aubrey helped us with some more sequencing.

Adian and Mimi worked on distinguishing beginning sounds.  That's hard work!

Amber and Abby sounded out some words and practiced writing them.

We continued learning about being safe.  Miss Brieann read a book about playground safety.

Each preschooler had to help the characters know if their behavior was safe (green) or to stop and fix it (red) with red light green light signs.

A real police officer came to visit.   He talked about what his job is and stranger danger. He asked each child to learn their parents first and last names and their telephone and address if possible.

Miss Liz and Miss Brieann have never seen the preschoolers sit so well!

If you would like to play a letter or number review game this weekend with your preschooler try this:

Lay out 5 flash cards with letters/numbers on them.  Give your child a fly swatter and as you call out letter names have them slap it as fast as they can.  Try calling out sounds as well.
