N the Newt

We started learning about the letter N today. 

Abby is using her neon wand to write the letter N in the air.

We are excellent air writers!

In centers, we searched the newspaper for letters we have learned. 

Mimi made a noodle necklace.

Sophia is sorting N objects: nickels, nuts, noodles and nails.

N the newt is naughty and wrote with nail polish on the walls. 

Aidan, Solia and Madison are painting N the newt with real nail polish.

Sophia, Mimi and Ava thought is was a real treat to use nail polish all by themselves.

Because N the Newt is naughty and we don't want to be like him, Aubrey and Amber are practicing nice table manners.

Carson and Amber are making their very own placemats to help them remember nice table manners.  Look for these coming home on Thursday.

Each preschooler had to practice their "Please" and "Thank you" at snack time when we ate nutty butter cookies.

Everyone got to play hopscotch as part of math time to

 practice counting 1 to 10.

Mac and Carson are doing more counting with Miss Brieann. 

Preschoolers can never have enough counting! 

So keep up the counting at home. 

 Count objects while pointing and saying the numbers out loud.
