V is for Vacuum

We've had a very busy week learning about the letter V!

Anniston and Sophia pretended to vacuum while saying the /v/ sound.

Ian enjoyed vacuuming at the free play center.

Preschoolers practiced reading and stamping word family words.

Madison made a V on the Lite Brite.

Emily has become an expert at folding washcloths!

Preschoolers had the the opportunity to clip the letters of alphabet on a clothesline.

Chloe practiced her pattern making skills.

Brendan did a great job gluing valentine candy on the letter V.

Porter brought a toy violin for show-and-tell!

Anniston and Solia had a great idea and both brought volleyballs!

Ava showed us the violet colored hair on her doll.

Miss Brieann showed us her viola.  She told us about the parts of the instrument and played "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."

Abby caught our comprehension beach ball and answered a question about a story Miss Liz read.

Preschoolers built towers with cubes.  They used words such as more, less, and the same, to compare the towers.

 Gavin liked playing with legos.

Ian enjoyed painting with vegetables.

The week of April 30th we will be learning about x-rays, doctors, and careers.  We are looking for parents who are willing to come and spend a few minutes telling the preschoolers about their jobs.  If you are interested, please let Miss Liz know.  Thanks!
