This week we learned all about the season of Fall. We played a review game with leaves.
We talked about sequence and how a pumpkin grows.
Faye brought a pine cone for show and tell.
Luke shared candy pumpkins.
Corbett created a autumn tree. Rolling the paper into balls and gluing it on the tree were great fine motor practice.
Logan used a rake to create a leaf pile.
Everyone loved pounding golf tees into a pumpkin to help with their eye/hand coordination.
We played a dice game to help learn one to one correspondence.
Preschoolers demonstrated their knowledge of positional words like "under, near, on top of."
Gavin and Dahlin enjoyed building with wooden blocks.
Trevin discovered homemade slime inside a fake pumpkin and explored real pumpkin seeds.
The sensory table filled with beans and tools was a lot of fun too.
Next week we will be learning about the letter D, dinosaurs and recognizing written numerals 1-5.
