I the insect itches as she say "i-i-i"
We learned some facts about insects and then discovered some had gotten into our preschool!
Luke swatted one and then named the letter on the back.
Faye connected inch cubes together.
Corbett sorted insects into big and small.
Luke traced the lines to help the inchworms get to the leaf.
Logan matched inch worms with numbers on them to the leaf that had the corresponding number of holes.
In the construction center there were insects, bug jars, and magnifying glasses to explore.
Corbett and Trevin used their bodies to make a lowercase I.
Faye made an insect with her snack.
Trevin placed inch worms in order from largest to smallest.
We tried to catch insects using party blowers with velcro on the ends.
Logan brought a pretend ice cube from the game "Don't break the Ice!" for show and tell.
Dahlin brought an ice cube tray.
Everyone had lots of fun playing ice cream parlor with playdough, chocolate chips and sprinkles.
