L the Lizard

The week of L brought L the Lizard who licks a lollipop while saying "l-l-l"

Luke played with lizards and other reptiles.

Corbett chose to put links together during his turn at the basket center.

Logan sorted lizards by size.

Faye matched lollipops with upper case letters to their wrappers with lower case letters.

Of course we had to enjoy some REAL lollipops.

Using a button snake, preschoolers sorted and counted felt mice after reading the book "Mouse Count."

Stamping with lemons and limes was good messy fun.

Logan used a chalkboard to show how he can write the letter L.

Luke used a chalkboard to draw things that begin with L.  We used this time to develop drawing skills by identifying the shapes we need to draw to create a picture.

Corbett brought licorice to share for show and tell.

Faye used the light boxes to make a chameleon lizard change colors
