We have had fun this week learning about the letter A. We learned that A the Alligator says, "a, a, a," and we did several activities with apples.
| We made colorful apple prints by dipping half of an apple in paint and stamping it on paper. |
| We sampled 3 different kinds of apples... |
| ...Red Delicious, Granny Smith, and Gala. |
| Then we made a graph to show what kind of apples we liked the best. |
| Here are the results. We have also been working on counting this week. Ask your preschooler to count how many circles there are of each color. Which has the most? |
Next week we will be learning about the letter B. Our theme is "bears," and our math focus will be on shapes. Please have your preschooler bring a stuffed bear to school on Tuesday. Preferably one that will fit in their backpack. See you next week!
