D is for Dinosaur

This week we are studying Dinosaurs along with the letter D.  If you want to extend your child's study, now is a good time to take your children to the Dinosaur Exhibit at the Natural History Museum.  Here is a peek at what we did at school today...

Mac and Miss Brieann have on their Dinosaur Detective Hats.

Abby made a "Countosaurus."

Sophia and her classmates practiced counting with their counting dinosaurs.  Practice at home by having an adult tell you a number and you can count and pin that many clothespins onto your dinosaur.

Mimi and Emily learned about D the Dinosaur.  They punched out and glued dots.

Carson glued dots onto his D the Dinosaur too.

Ava pretended to be a plant eating dinosaur while she ate broccoli and snap peas.   Preschoolers could also be meat eating dinosaurs while they ate slices of ham.

Aidan enjoyed the flannel board dinosaurs.

We had fun digging for dinosaur bones.

These future paleontologists discovered lots of dinosaur bones!

Mac and Amber used tongs, or pinchers, to sort colorful pom poms.

Madison strung beads onto a shoelace.

Aubrey tried out the sorting as well.
