| Today we learned about the Thanksgiving holiday. Mac brought a pilgrim boy and girl for show and tell. |
| Ava was excited to share her family album. She also brought a can of pumpkin. |
| We listened to Thanksgiving music and tapped tambourines to the beat. |
Here's Mimi with her tambourine, and Ava matching magnetic letters during centers.
We played Letter Bingo to review alphabet letters.
| Madison and Aubrey built with blocks and did an alphabet puzzle. |
| We made turkeys for our snack with Ritz crackers, peanut butter, raisins, and candy corns. Yum! |
We practiced patterning by making a necklace with straws.
We wrote alphabet letters in sensory trays/bags with our fingers. They contained rice, sugar, popcorn kernels, shaving cream, and hair gel.
| We made thankful turkeys and took them home filled with popcorn. (As you can see it was a challenge to get a good group photo before heading home.) |
We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! See you next week!
