Happy Thanksgiving!

Today we learned about the Thanksgiving holiday.  Mac brought a pilgrim boy and girl for show and tell.
Ava was excited to share her family album.  She also brought a can of pumpkin.
We listened to Thanksgiving music and tapped tambourines to the beat.

Here's Mimi with her tambourine, and Ava matching magnetic letters during centers.

We played Letter Bingo to review alphabet letters.

Madison and Aubrey built with blocks and did an alphabet puzzle.

We made turkeys for our snack with Ritz crackers, peanut butter, raisins, and candy corns.  Yum!
We practiced patterning by making a necklace with straws.

We wrote alphabet letters in sensory trays/bags with our fingers.  They contained rice, sugar, popcorn kernels, shaving cream, and hair gel.

We made thankful turkeys and took them home filled with popcorn.  (As you can see it was a challenge to get a good group photo before heading home.)
We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!  See you next week!
