My favorite website for kids is Starfall. Click on ABCs and choose the letter you want your child to learn. A good starting point is the letters in your child's name, or the letters we've been working on at preschool. I love this website because it's fun and easy for kids to navigate themselves, and they learn a ton! There is also a whole section for children who are ready to learn to read.
If you want your child to practice writing letters, you can print handwriting practice worksheets at First-School. Be sure to help them begin each stroke in the right place. You can also find pre-printing practice pages at KidZone. These pages are more basic, and you can choose pages that focus on straight or curvy lines.
One thing regarding preschool next week... Liz will be out of town, but preschool will carry on as normal Tuesday, November 8th. School will not be held on Thursday as it is a Professional Development Day for the School District. In Liz's absence, Brieann will have her husband assisting her. Students will be learning about the letter H, horses, and other farm animals. That will be a good time to practice the letter H at home!
