It's nearing the end of preschool and after learning all the letters, it's time for some Summer celebration.
We started the day off by singing to Sophia for her birthday. Happy Birthday Sophia!
Miss Liz read a book about five animals going for a boat ride. Preschoolers made predictions about which animal would sink the boat.
Then everyone took turns predicting if an object would float or sink. Amber dropped her Easter egg into the water to test her prediction.
Ava recorded that the egg floated on top.
Aubrey strung numbered pool noodle beads in order from 1-10 and then ten down to one.
Mimi matched color sticks to their corresponding felt Popsicle tops.
Aidan practiced his uppercase alphabet.
Solia practiced her lowercase letter writing.
What is Summer in the desert without a little water play?
Carson painted the wall with a foam brush dipped in water. What a great summertime activity with practically no mess!
Emily watched as Miss Liz created a tornado in soda bottles.
Mac explored more sinking and floating objects.
Just a few more days of practice before our graduation program so we will be out both Thursday and next Tuesday at the park. Please put sunscreen on your kids. Thanks!
