Horses and Other Farm Animals

Today we learned about the letter H.
 H the horse huffs, "h, h, h."

Miss Brieann dressed up as the little red hen.  She read us the story, and had Madison, Sophia, and Chloe help her act out the story.

During the free play center, preschoolers fed pretend apples to a toy horse, and played with farm animals and a barn.

Gavin laced around this pig.

Ian placed magnetic animals in a farm book.

Chloe and Porter identified the beginning sounds in words and pictures.

Brendan sorted objects by color.

After learning about the little red hen, each child enjoyed mixing and kneading their own bread!

We also used baking tools to explore our sensory rice tables.

As a reminder, school will not be held next Tuesday.  It is a Staff Development Day for Clark County School District.  We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday at Parent Teacher Conferences!
