Happy Halloween!

It was so much fun seeing all the preschoolers in their costumes today!!!

Gavin was a scary dinosaur.

Emily was a popstar.

Madison was a witch.

Solia was sunshine.

Abby was Hello Kitty.

Chloe was the mermaid, Ariel.

Ava was an indian.

Ian was my favorite cowboy, Woody.

Brendan was Wolverine.

Iron Man, aka Porter.

Sophia was beautiful Barbie.

Anniston was a witch.

 The preschoolers each had a turn to tell the class about their Halloween costume.

 We talked about feelings with our Sad and Glad Monster puppets.

 We drew pictures and dictated what makes us feel glad and sad.

 Emily sorted spider rings by color.

 Sophia worked on her number book.

 Brendan played with our Mr. Pumpkin Head dressed up as a pirate.

 Gavin and Ian enjoyed the blocks and cars.

 Chloe made this Halloween monster.

 Miss Brieann mixed up an orange witches brew for us to drink. 

 We also enjoyed jack-o-lantern fruit cups and bat shaped pretzels for snack time.

We completed a pumpkin window art project, played Halloween memory, and even pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern.

We especially enjoyed sharing our Halloween treats!  Miss Brieann and Miss Liz were so caught up in the Halloween fun that we forgot to hand out our Halloween gifts.  Sorry, you won't get them until Thursday.  Please refer to November's Calendar (on the back of October's) for next month's schedule. This Thursday we'll be learning about the letter H....for Happy Halloween!
