We had plenty of fun with the letter P this week!
P the pelican pops popcorn /p/ /p/ /p/.
We practiced writing the letter p and the word pop on a piece of paper. Then we crumpled our papers, and tossed them in the air like popping popcorn!
The preschoolers enjoyed some pillow time in their pajamas while listening to a silly story, Pete's a Pizza.
At the math center we sorted pennies and nickels into piggy banks.
Madison, Sophia, and Anniston pretended at our "Pizza & Popcorn Parlor."
Gavin poked holes along the letter P.
Here are Chloe, Porter, and Emily hard at work at the Language Arts center.
Ian and Brendan glued popcorn along the letter P.
Anniston completed the "P is for puppy" puzzle.
We LOVED all the snacks for letter P this week...pretzels, potato chips, pineapple, popsicles, pringles, pink marshmallows, peanut butter cookies, peach punch, and popcorn. Thanks for your donations!
We played with play dough.
We made a puzzle collage page.
Ian (who dressed as a punk today) brought Pringles for show-and-tell.
Madison (a pink barbie) brought potatoes.
Abby brought a pink piggy puppet to match her pink clothing!
Today we made a "positive circle." We took turns saying something positive about the person sitting next to us.
We practiced putting puzzles together.
We even made our own popcorn puzzle.
To complete our P week we paraded to the park dressed as princesses, pirates, Peter Pan, Porter, and penguins. Several of us wore pink, purple, and polka dots.
We enjoyed a picnic at the park, and had a few minutes to play with pipes and a parachute!
