B Week

We had a "Beary" fun week learning about the letter B.
Our special teddy bears joined us as we listened to a story about teddy bears...
...and sang hello.
Porter used foam strips to build a lowercase b and capital B.
Each student had a chance to circle a picture that began with the /b/ sound.  Miss Brieann blew air into a blue balloon for each correct answer.  The students loved when it popped!
Brendan used a mallet to bang wooden balls while Ian built with blocks.
Emily sorted objects from our "b" box.

Our three-year-olds blew bubbles onto a letter B worksheet.

The four-year-olds are continuing to learn "at" words with word building activities.

We have been learning about shapes with light boxes and shape cards.

 We drew self-portraits.
We practiced our cutting and gluing skills.
Sophia brought her cuddly bed time bear for show and tell.
Ian brought his soft, blue blanket.
Abby brought a picture of her brother and her favorite Hello Kitty Book.

Next week we'll be learning about Fall!
